Every year in the midst of Golden Gate Park in the Speedway Meadow, all the Banjo-picking ,desert treadin', country rats kick off their boots and come western bound to play their music into the smooth San Francisco night sky.
On Friday September 30th, Saturday October 1st and Sunday October 2nd, the Munis, Bart stations and streets will be filled with modern day hippies dressed to the nine, ready to dance and sway to just plain good old tunes at this completely FREE music festival, Hardly,Strictly Bluegrass.

Ward, Bright Eyes, Star Stage: South Memphis String Band, Kris Kristofferson & Merle Haggard, DeVotchKa and Elbow, Towers of Gold Stage: actor Hugh Laurie, Broken Social Scene, Gomez, and the Porch Stage: Wendy Bird, Dive Bar Dukes and Bill Orcutt.
Just to name a few, but there are so many amazing musicians playing throughout the three days that you'll want to make it out to GGP insantly!
