These Boots are made for walkin'
And that's just what they'll do... and did, at the Spring 2012 Dsquared2 Womenswear show in Milan.
The Caten Brothers brought true " American Teen Spirit" in this show with grudgy, bohemian, concert-goin' looks packed full of youth in Boots.
Each model had smuged, black dark eyelids with none other than a cracked open Heineken. The vibe of the show was very music festival shot.
Every model looked like she was out at Coachella or Lollapolooza and even a modern day Woodstock goer, and the show was complete with high voltage music that blasted as each model made that turn onto the catwalk. U2, Lady Gaga and Coldplay were some of the music played.
All I can say is, I want t be at this concert everyday!

" The clothes don't make the man, it's the Man that makes the clothes."
What ingredients make you, you?
Personal style is an endless blue yonder of what makes a person feel good in their own skin and taking a step out of their closet and showing the world what makes them turn.
Some of my style icons have a particular look about them that stays on the tastebuds for quite a while, in the sweetest way.
Zooey Deschanel
Florence Welch
Theophilus London
Bethany Cosentino
My all time favorite leading lady in personal style, Gwen Stefani
These people just put themselves into everything they wear, the inspiration stems from the subconscious.
No matter what kind of goodies you find at a clothing store, all that really matters is how it makes you feel each time you slip it on.
So there is no definition of Personal style, whether you are quirky and vintage sheek to bohemian hippie or from hipster new wave to glamourous feminine, it all is under the giant umbrella of style that you have control of.

It's a glorious WASTELAND
Hands down the best place to find Vintage, one-of-a-kind Desert roamin' clothing.
Wasteland embraces so much into their store and also their blog, W45T3L4ND.
They bring light to unknown and somewhat forgotten sources that highlight individual fashion in not just famous designers but everyday people walking down the street and pop culture from characters in a film to what the music artists are wearing to their show at the Casbah.
Tracking trends and starting them every which way they can, especially from the heart of the store itself with their hard working employees.
The blog features the " Red Wall Diaries" which illustrates street style on the sunny blocks of Melrose in front of the main store in L.A.
Every other day, employees are commended for their courageous fashion and unique tastes. Everyone is different and all lookin' good.

Always Seeking Susan
W45T3L4ND recently sent my brain inspiration like always, with their post on 1985's flim, Desperately Seeking Susan, with the stunning new wave, rebel, 80's chick looks Madonna elegantly rocks.
The movie brings us to New York, New York in the thriving 1980's where a sudden head accident leads a housewife to a fast-paced free spirited life when getting mistaken for Susan, a.k.a Madonna.
Alexander Wang |
Forever 21 black trousers |
American Apparel Disco Pants |
Vintage Menswear blazer |
Vintage stretch belt |
MAC liquid eyeliner in " Boot" black |
MAC lipstick in " Red" Be a New York hip chick everyday and channel your inner Madonna with lots, and lots of attitude. And don't forget the lace! |
